Fashion commonplaces

The other day, while on a girls’ night out, chatting about this and that we ended up talking about nail polish and we realized that we’re pretty much on the same wave lenght. Then I started to think about all those commonplaces that distress most women so I decided to write a post about it. Hope you like it :D

1. you spend long hours on the couch watching a super boring tv show just because you’re not willing to go fetch the remote, but be aware that, as soon as you apply your nail polish of choice you’re gonna need to do a million things and waiting for 2 minutes for it to dry is going to seem like eternity.

2. you enter a shop, see a gorgeous dress, look at the price tag and think how cool it would be to stop time and take it away.

3. when you have an important date you get the worst breakouts and your mane gets untamable.

4. you’re about to go out, you open your closet and you realize that the dress you wanted to wear is the hamper and you have no clue as to what to wear.

5. you get waxes and think about how awesome it would be to be a man : hairy and proud of it.

Can you think of any more?

L’altro giorno durante una serata fra amiche, chiacchierando del più e del meno siamo finite sul discorso smalto e ci siamo accorte che, ridendo e scherzando, pensiamo o facciamo le stesse cose. Da li ho cominciato a riflettere sui luoghi comuni che affliggono la maggior parte delle donne e così ho deciso di scrivere questo post, spero vi piaccia :D

1. stai per ore e ore sul divano a guardare un programma noiosissimo in tv perché non hai voglia di allungarti per prendere il telecomando, ma sta pur sicura che nel momento in cui metterai lo smalto ti accorgerai di dover fare 100.000 cose e aspettare due minuti perché esso si asciughi ti sembrerà un’eternità;

2. entri in un negozio, vedi un bellissimo vestito, guardi il prezzo e pensi a quanto sarebbe bello bloccare il tempo e portarlo via;

3. quando hai un appuntamento importante ecco che la tua faccia si riempie di brufoli e i capelli diventano indomabili;

4. stai per uscire, apri l’armadio e ti accorgi che il vestito che volevi indossare è in lavatrice e non hai la più pallida idea di cosa metterti;

5. fai la ceretta e pensi a quanto sarebbe bello essere un uomo: peloso e fiero di esserlo.
