On the SS2010 Chanel runway we’ve seen models sporting temporary tattoos on legs, arms and hands, created -exclusively by Peter Philips, long time creative director of Chanel Cosmetics.

Chains, pearls necklaces, swallows, Chanel logos in various shapes all 3-d looking once transferred on the skin, thanks to a chiaroscuro effect.

So, what we used to do as kids with fake tats that came with strawberry flavoured bubblegum (admit it, we all did!) is now high fashion.
