D.I.Y.: Alexander Wang’s Socks
Finding new and interesting blogs is one of the activities that I like more. So last morning suday, while I was drinking a cup of coffee and eating a piece of blueberry cake, I found the blog of Jazzy McG, a young writer and stylist born in Los Angeles that lives in New York City.
Besides the pictures of her outfits and her wonderful recent purchases, such as a pair of Imperial Pump of Yves Saint Laurent, I directed my attention to an article about Alexander Wang’s socks of his new spring summer collection.
In few and simple steps Jazzy explaines how to recreate the same fantastic socks. So I decided to buy the materials and try to create Alexander Wang’s socks next week end. With just a tube of glue, sharp scissors, a bit of elastic and a pair of socks you can obtain the same effect. I’ll let you know how they will be!

Andare alla ricerca di nuovi e interessanti blog di moda è una delle operazioni che più mi piacciono. E così domenica mattina, davanti a una fumante tazza di caffè e a una fetta di torta ai mirtilli, mentre navigavo in internet ho scoperto il blog di Jazzy McG una giovane scrittrice e stylist nata a Los Angeles ma trapiantata a New York City.
A parte le foto dei suoi outfit e dei suoi ultimi meravigliosi acquisti, come ad esempio un paio di Imperial Pump firmate Yves Saint Laurent, quello che più mi ha colpito è stato un articolo dedicato ai gambaletti di Alexander Wang della sua ultima collezione.
Attraverso qualche semplice passo Jazzy spiegava come riprodurre gli stessi fantastici gambaletti. Ho così deciso di andare a comprare tutto il necessario e cimentarmi nella creazione questo week end. Basta solo un tubetto di colla, forbici appuntite, un po’ di elastico e un paio di calzini per ottenere lo stesso effetto. Vi farò sapere come sono venuti!
